The Museum is located at the northeast corner of Westwood and
Wilshire Boulevards in Westwood Village, 3 blocks east of the 405
freeway's Wilshire Boulevard exit.
Parking is available under the Museum/Occidental Petroleum
Corporation. Rates are normally $3 for the first three hours with
Museum stamp; $1.50 for each additional 20 minutes. There is a $3
flat rate after 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays. Occidental Petroleum
Corporation has agreed to validate the parking for all FACC members
and their guests who sign up for this event by Thursday the 18th:
please tell the parking attendant that you are there to visit

"Our featured speaker this year is
Sari Ratsula. Fifteen years ago, Sari Ratsula, a Finnish business
student at Helsinki School of Economics, got a traineeship at Vans,
then a small California based skateboard shoe company. After being
offered a permanent position, she took the challenge and stayed with
Vans for 10 years, running the company’s design & development team
and building the company into a multimillion-dollar global action
sports empire.
Today, Sari is known as Queen Bee at an El Segundo based Seychelles
Imports footwear company. By staying true to her beliefs and vision,
she has built the company’s two brands, Seychelles and BC Footwear,
into the hippest fashion footwear brands in the US with her team. To
stay on top of her game, Sari works closely with trendy boutiques,
stylists and fashion editors globally, and loves to share her
experiences with fashion students at the Fashion Institute of Design
and Merchandising in Los Angeles, where she also teaches.
